What services are being added to my community?
Woodbridge is excited to be offering building wide high-speed fiber optic Wireless Internet access in every unit and common amenity areas! Each unit will be equipped with hardware to provide coverage and get your devices online in a simple fashion. Activation for new users is typically done on the same day with no service call or technicians coming to your unit (once all the equipment is installed originally). We will be reaching out to each of you when your floor/unit will be ready for hardware installation. Technicians will be in your unit for less than an hour to get everything setup.
What is the difference between fiber optic and regular internet?
Imagine the internet is like water flowing through pipes to your home. Traditional internet uses metal wires, like regular pipes. Fiber optic internet, on the other hand, uses special pipes made of glass.
Now, think of these glass pipes as super fast and shiny. They carry information using light instead of water. So, just like water flows quickly through a clean, smooth pipe, information travels super fast through these glass pipes. That's fiber optic internet—using light to send information really, really quickly!
Who is receiving services?
All new lease holders will be required to pay for the service. Existing lease holders do not need to transition to the service until lease renewal time. How do I get service activated?
The Woodbridge leasing office will let us know when your new lease will start, which will begin your Elauwit service. Typically receive your own personal WiFi password that day and can start using the service immediately. We expect services to be available to residents starting July 1st, 2024.
What is the cost?

What is the speed/service offering?
The service is high speed internet for each unit (speeds will vary by device) with building-wide wireless internet access for all your devices. The hardwired port in the living room is where speeds are capable of 1Gbps. New WiFi6 devices will see typical speeds from 300-500Mbps when using reliable speed test services. Your secure passphrase connects you on your property’s secured network anywhere in the building and in the garage for consistent service. You simply use your own personal wireless password for all your devices - anywhere you see the “@WoodbridgeResidents” network broadcast.
Why only one SSID for everyone?
We prioritize security, WiFi reliability, and network speed during network design. Currently, the best way to deliver these network attributes is to minimize the number of SSIDs broadcast to reduce WiFi noise, while using a dynamic pre-shared key unique to each unit for security and encryption. You will not be able to set your own SSID but the passphrase can be changed post service activation in our subscriber portal. However, a unique code will be appended to the end of your custom passphrase.
Can I keep my current service provider?
Yes - current lease holders can keep their current service provider and transition at any time prior to lease renewal. If you do not plan to renew, you do not need to transition to Elauwit WiFi. Please disconnect any old service provider equipment in your unit immediately to reduce any potential WiFi interference.
Do you offer television?
NO - just high-speed internet building wide. We recommend you purchase YouTubeTV and other OTT (over-the-top) services to solve your video needs.
